2013 World Congress

Buenos Aires is our host City for the 10th International Lupus Congress, April 18th to April 21st 2013. This will be the first time the Congress is held in South America. Our Congress is the world's most comprehensive clinical and scientific LUPUS meeting.
As physicians and scientists we look forward to a global exchange of ideas and concepts to help us overcome the challenges and difficulties encountered in the care of those affected with LUPUS. We welcome LUPUS organizations and developers of treatment strategies and diagnostic tests from around the world to engage in a fruitful exchange of ideas. This will lead to an unprecedented international synergy on understanding the pathogenesis of this complex disorder, the optimal use of current treatments, basic research and the development of improved strategies for the successful conduct of clinical trials.
We share a passion for research leading to find the cure for LUPUS and to improve the quality of life for those suffering with it. What better setting to pursue our passion than an inspirational cosmopolitan city with an unmatched landscape.
We could not ask for a more exciting city to host this Congress than Buenos Aires, a city known for its extensive cultural and ethnic diversity and, of course for the Tango; in this environment many international endeavors have successfully taken place. This cultural and ethnic diversity is evident everywhere in Buenos Aires, but particularly in the downtown area where our Congress will take place. The shops, restaurants and neighborhoods surrounding this area provide a comfortable and supportive environment for ad hoc meetings, always a welcomed addition to the scheduled group sessions, seminars and symposia.
